A lone man at dusk
Whose heart broke in the silence
Of a memory all but lost
In a tarnished shackle

For when no one was left he remained

Lost in the darkness
Afraid of the light
An empty soul
Guided him to his true fright

For the winds changed
Into an icy bellow
And his tired legs
Drained as he drug the remains

For when no one was left he remained

And in the apocalyptic fire
Of all the lies and the deceit
No ones final screams
Echo below his feet

For no one was to be found

In a life that was so full and
Below the shadows, a man was to rise
Because even the bitter truth scorned

That no one was left, yet he remained.
