It was going to be a song at one time, or at least that is what my mind said. Never happened, but hey, enjoy anyway!
If I Never Meet You If I never meet you Then pray my heart never learn love If I never lay my eyes on you Then may they go blind If I never hold you May all feeling leave me It seems crazy Having strong feelings for someone You’ve only met in your dreams But fate has a way of doing things That sends your mind into despair If only I never had that dream Everything would be okay My soul is empty without your warmth And when I fumble through it All I can find Are the same cold tears starting all over again And I search for some comfort In the way the sun shines But there is none to be found there It seems funny How one can make a friend of the rain It’s cool drops Wrapping you in its love If I never meet you Then may the rain go on forever May the bittersweet dreams stay here forever May life keep me frozen in time If I never meet you Then may only the angels have you Every time I search for you Every stranger I find Skips a beat in my heart But leave me cold as I say goodbye The world seems to have a cruel way Of saying what my heart has always known If I never meet you May the world Know Peace May Hunger End May someone else find true love And Let The world see happiness While I cry If I never meet you (c) 2008 Joel M.
