Works Both Ways

They say the law is for the women,

The men feel they get the shaft.

Maybe sometimes they really do,

They really do not deserve that.

What the law does to them,

Is unfair, I admit sometimes.

For there are women out there,

Who are only after your dime.

Let us look at the other side,

See what happens there.

When a women finds a man,

That really does not care.

Not all women contrive to deceive,

When loving a man in whom they believe.

Saying you are hunted, our sexist plan,

Men have hunted women since time began.

Nothing here said about how men behave,

Only about the woman who others she craved.

Tell me you did not drink, sweet as apple pie,

Then I will admit the whole thing is a lie.

There are men and women, who do these things,

Not caring how they hurt others it seems.

Makes it very sad for all that would degrade,

For they are not the ones in your dreams.
