Halloween Party
 .
 Each year our counselors hold a special day
 In which we plan a party for our little friends
 We make sure they all have costumes to wear
 and each one has stuff to decorate their hair
 .
 There are eight of us in the office not counting me
 And they each have a lot of kids to oversee
 So it takes a bit of planning for this special day
 We all donate for this special cause
 So that these children have some real fun
 Are able to laugh, eat, and run around
.
 We bob for apples and sing scary songs
 the men dress like monsters and play along
 the kids are free from worry and enjoy the night
 We help them to see that there is more to life
 .
 This may seem like a sad holiday its true
 but it isnt for those kids, I promise you
 They will remember it for a long time
 And all of us are happy to give our time
 .
We do this for each special holiday of the year
 It is a day for laughter and fun
 A day for them to be away from fear
 .
 I love to see their faces as they enter the room
 For we have decorated it with witches and brooms
 spider webs and spiders and ghouls abound
 The kids all shudder as they walk around
 .
 When the night comes to an end 
moms and dads come to pick up their kids
 And tired counselors head home to bed
 We are all happy for what the kids had
