The challenge: To write a poem about the ocean without using the letter "E" I have been really busy, sorry for the late entry.

Sailing Blissfully (Eileen’s Challenge)

Afloat upon vast fluid salt

In ship of wood and nail

My cat and I drift blissfully

As winds fill full our sail

With rod and hook I troll along

Pray, catch two fish or four

To fry in pan a poor man’s lunch

For us it’s sup du jour

As twilight calls to dark our sun

And moon-full starts to glow

I drop sail upon rim of night

And anchor toss down low

Haunting moans sound within hull

Pitch rocks us to and fro

Soft and slow its rhythm sounds

Bright stars fill indigo

Hey girl, you weren't supposed to use any "e"s but you still did, both in your name and in Eileens name...LOL...how did I miss this one when first you wrote it, I know not, but I like it just the same now as I would have then...Peace, -e-

Ahhh . . . Sherry, I missed this one. It must have been one of those time when I left AD for awhile, which I am preparing to do again soon.

You entered within yourself some very mystical and down right realistic thoughts herein the lines of this beauty. Yes, I can feel the warmth of your pen. I'm so happy I got to read this. Thank you.
