We can see many thingsin our dreams and go anywhere and do anything. Some of our dreams become reality and a goal in life. Other dreams are just life's whimsy, a fantasy that takes our mind on a surreal journey while we sleep. Oh what can it mean, when we but dream?

Did you not see me waving?
Me and the man in the moon went for a spot of tea.

Nice kiddies work, bad kiddies don't work. lol.

Oh how wonderful! It reminded me of our 'Ship of Dreams' which I sailed in across the world with my grandchildren! It was our sofa...but it transformed when we all boarded it together...This poem has a lovely childlike feel to it and reminded me in some ways ofthe classic 'The Owl and the Pussycat'...Thoroughly enjoyed every line! (I have recently bought a new sofa... and the 'ship of dreams' has sadly gone forever..)Love and Hugs, Diana...

So visual, Sherry, I could see this ship as if she lived and breathed high up in my windows!

Her sails were white as fallen snow
Her rails waxed to glossy shine
Her portholes clear as fresh blown glass
With no mist from dulling brine

Beautifully sing-song and atmospheric... a sure winner with adults and children alike. We two DO seem to be in the wars! Rest up and mend... you've learned a new skill already! Thanks also for your good wishes. Am doing fine! xx

This is unique poetry for I've never read one where the ship was in the sky. Very creative.

Truly marvelous sea/sky tale reminds me a little of the tale of the Flying Dutchman, the ghost ship often seen sailing the waters around Nova Scotia.
