I'd like to mention that, with the exception of Comes Alchemy, most of these recent poems are silly or semi-silly stuff. A phase. The moon's fault. Please read some older stuff if you can. I will get back into the Starkly Serious soon. When, say, I can see the keyboard again. I have started a fund/organization for abused animals. Please let me know if you'd like to help in any way. Thank you.
Myopic Meltdown
You're thinking, what on earth
is she going off about now?
Well, it's the llama, DUH !
the one who sleeps on the bed --
along with the torn cloth butterfly,
the balloon doll of toilet tissue hair,
two newborn snugglies of fleece,
one multicolored garland of flowers,
a felt peridot bird with flexible wings,
and finally, the tiny lifelike doll my
daughter loved, strategically
postioned to torture me about
the little doll my daughter was.
These things really do ring the daybed
in which I sleep atrociously,
even in the presence of such
prismatic solace. I was actually
in process of tearing the room apart stud to stud, hunting for my glasses.
Everything fell when I moved bed
from wall - except, that is, the llama,
due to his long neck (causing me
to rethink the loathing of my own).
But in a bituminous bifocalless bloodbath,
who'd really wish to survive?
Truth is, the balloon is balding anyway,
the bird stares insanely at overly-
curtained, thus black glass doors,
the other doll's stuck in a wicked wink,
the butterfly's more shred than thing,
the flowers droop like moody boobs,
the snugglies uncoil like satanic snakes and the even the ruminant seems wasted lately upon my throbbing ankles. Blurry eyes make for blurry brains,
which makes for blurry words
and blurry bedtimes.
I may need to saddle up Llama
just to get to the blurry bathroom.
He'll brandish, of course, that
survivors no longer do others' bidding.
Wow. It is one challenged optical nerve
that allows vociferous communion
with a lazyass smartmouthed longernecker.
I CANNOT SEE, for the love of pellets!
and am out of control, like I want to, oh,
deliberately misspell something, while
splitting a blurry infinitive, then end a short-sighted preposition with
Very creative and funny as well. Terrific word picture. J'nia

They say the best way to go through life is to stay inside your own hula hoop. Maybe myopic is the only way to go. This is tremendously creative and funny. Copyrut 3009.
Sometimes Julie it's better not to look to far into the future, by the way what are you feeding that Llama, or maybe you just shrunk a wee bit, your room seems a perfect place to get totally lost in, could use a place like that. The doll you're talking about hasn't got needles stuck in it has it ha, and what are you doing about animals asides from the Llame and butterflies etc, etc, I am helping a lady now that just lost a court case big time, calling a Breeding
Facility a puppy mill, and now the law even forbids us to mention it's name the puppy mills that is, she has to work underground now for her few pitances so the won't attach her wages, if I find the case again I'll mail it to you it's disgusting totally, bless You for helping though, it shows what big heart you have despite all your problems. You are a talented poet, who, could make mincemeat with your skill in the jumble and tumble of words, attached, to a rigorous verbal outcry every week or so, to help these poor creatures. Hugs!
