I changed the order of the colors, deciding on red for the end. I wonder if my dear readers can tell me why. I do have a reason. I wonder if it comes across - if I have communicated.

crawling left in front of me
then a yellow car
whooshing towards -
small, urgent sun
a curled
dead squirrel
swift errand clipped,
a compact,
purple as violets
swimming in slanted rays

You have the Kafkaesque reference to the Metamorphosis. Morphing into poetry? Autos illuminated in various light, yellow sun, violet dusk, red of an ambulance siren? Red being "stop" where the poem ends? That's my best guess from this little pea brain.
Contraband Marriage, traveling along the hemline of loving after incarceration, is a love story written in lyric and free form, set in reality with a different ever after.
In the Whirlwind is a poetic storm that frees history from the cages of corruption and puts it in the hands of everyday people. Words are weaved into a new fashion statement that has nothing to do with runways but everything to do with projects!
