Microwave popcorn plumps up
so quickly and smells so good
when it's poppin'
Like love, when it's new,
it sizzles
way,
way
down
deep in the bag,
sometimes sweetened with honey.
Hungry for it,
you can't seem to get enough,
so you start reachin'
for two or three kernals at a time
till
you look inside
and see
so many little seeds
in
the
bottom
of
bag
that didn't pop!
