So much to learn,
Reading and writing.

Other things you’ll learn;
Places on a map.
What is a fraction?
Definitions of a cap.

Science and history
All so new.
What do you get
When you mix green & blue?

Be wise with your time,
Wisdom takes years.
Some you’ll learn quickly,
Some study brings tears.

So listen and learn.
Education begins
As you learn each day
On needles and pins.

But in the end
When the day is through
You’ll know each day
Was tailored for you.
