A poem at about understanding friendship, when words become ineffectual.
Your Sad and Beautiful Face I stared at your face For hours Searching For the connection I fell Into your picture Standing In front of you Your eyes Surrounded by cheer The pieces of your face Blended in loveliness But your eyes Deep sadness Too much life Some of the pain I knew Some I felt Some I chose to forget Our pain reached out In space one night A connection Born of need There is beauty In sadness Textured magnificence Life’s tattoo Of an open heart A quiet moment When souls touch A secret place
