This is a poetry which reflects a theme of life complete with happiness and sorrow, comedy and tragedy, pain and pleasure and so many other contradictory elements. An attempt is being made to strike a balance in our survival by comparing it with a science and an art with a poetic poise.

These painful spasms are my balms

Which bring forth the understanding

Of life with all its subtle meanings,

Its existence and standing.

That’s the point where divinity shall

Soothe my sufferings while

All the tragedies in my life

Should find a cause to smile.

That is where my life’s Hedonics

Finds its inherent charms

On the gymkhana where pain and pleasure

The superiority of each affirms.

Without one the other shall

Inevitably face its great defeat,

Just as a man without a woman must

Be ever incomplete.

And with tragedy ruling a part of life

And comedy, the other part,

A balance seems to be struck between

A science and an art –

A science, where the loss is measured

In concrete terms, –

An art, where from the ruins of losses,

Resurrection extends its welcome arms!

Rescue
This poem reflects deep sorrows and a tragedy
How much one person can tolerate
Still have lingering doubts
Should find a cause to smile
A soft, clear, balanced voice
Helps others without hesitation
Round the clock on call and alert
A balance is there day and nite
To support who is in need
The warm light shines bright
Hope and resurrection is in sight

Say Something Terrorible v3 by RickthePoetWarrior

My mom says ‘If you can’t say anything nice then don’t say anything’. Sorry mom but under the guise of poetic license I penned these beauties.
