I love your poem, and one of my grandmothers also remind me of biscuits---she sure baked some good ones. Both sets of grandparents, when I think of them, remind me of solidarity of family.

What a wonderful write...my maternal grandparents make me think of a much simpler time, having a cold pepsi in their little country store, my paternal grandparents make me think of milking the cow and eating homemade biscuits and fresh honey! Thank you so much for the trip down memory lane this beautiful Sunday morning! Enjoyed your write Daniel, glad I stopped by this morning!

Oh my...my grandma on my daddy's side made me think of a witch on a very bushy broom stick....flying in mid-air laughing like a "hiena"
The other one on my mom's side always made me feel she was and "cooking" angel....could always provide for every one popping in...her pot never had too little!!

Unfortunately I did not know one of my grand pa's...only a step grand pa...which remined me of Japetto...you know Pinocio's dad....because he always had a knife in his hand carving something!!

These verses of yours make me think about my grandparents, Daniel. I am a first generation Canadian. I never got to meet my grandparents from France. From what I've gathered, there's only one who might have been worth getting to know anyhow. Your poem made me think about relationships and how intricate and complicated it can all get.
