so hot

Poem Artwork

so hot so hot

burning stillness within glazed leather

hidden stitches hold the polished facade

the angles meet
the angles separate

futile hands tighten the stitches that barely hold together

labyrinthine knots

too tight
suffocating tight
too close for fear of devils

too close

too close

everything

the still air
the sea
the thimble ocean in a cup of tea with dust

too close

the labyrinth

too close

the friends there talk in scandinavian

.......... deliberately?

they smile away to the houses....to the town

............. deliberately?

so hot so hot

frying in this hot stillness potatoes of mud

........... of sterility

protection in the frying pan?

(all the lonely people where do they come from)

throwing lies at the frozen heat and blushing
drowning lies of proper jargon

scandinavian threads

threads threads in the frying pan

fear jargon understandable in fear and chess

help me lies dear lies

saviour lies save me.......and chess

on the mountain of jargon and chess

I am tired alone................or afraid

and they are tired of me.............afraid

girls with paper songs

golden boys with nuts

breathing memories of past wounds
easier than hope..

awful terrifying murderous hope when time stands still

when the finger touches that elusive thing which is destroyed

by nuts
and bitter almonds

too close too close too close

a breath of air

a breath of air in this heaven

in heaven's name fresh air in this heaven

PLEASE
