Today, is just another lonely day without you You seem so far away, but I can still feel you in my heart With every passing day, I try so hard to be strong It hurts me so bad for us to be apart. My mind still cherishes your sweet smile and the sparkle in your eyes Your loving spirit is all that I have to comfort me It’s the part of you that I cling to; the part that never dies. It hurts to be alone because you’re not here with me You’ve gone away somewhere to a place that I want to be Memories we made together make me miss you more each day I want the chance to be with you; in your arms I want to stay. My heart often aches and longs for you I want to feel your loving arms holding me tight Especially on real tough days, and on many a lonely night I hope that the day will come and we will find each other again I know that my love for you will never ever end Maybe then, my broken heart will mend. It hurts to be alone because you’re not here with me You’ve gone away somewhere to a place that I want to be Memories we made together make me miss you more each day I want the chance to be with you; in your arms I want to stay. ©2006 Carrie James-Keaton

I've enjoy reading your poems.They are authentic and comes straight from the heart.I know it hurts to be alone.You just want someone that will be right by your side and give you the greatest unconditional love that a man can give to a woman.Someone that you can hold hands with,watch a movie or two,walk side by side.holding you in his arms like a blanket whenever your feelings are cold and sad.I want you to take care of yourself.I'm looking forward to reading more of your poetry
