Who do you thank for your blessings?

Who do you thank when you hurt?

Who do you thank every mealtime?

Who do you thank for dessert?

And who do you bow down and worship,

When big quickly changes to small,

And success on the ladder you’re climbing,

Starts leaning like it’s going to fall?

Well I thank the Lord for my blessings

And I thank the Lord for my pains,

‘Cause I found a spirit of thanksgiving,

Is blessed more than one that complains.

So if you would love to be thankful,

Then start on the journey today.

Get to know the Lord Jesus,
