If I were president on nine one one,

What would I do for the wrong that was done?

What could I say, how could I act,

Toward those who lost loved ones in that brutal attack?

Well I wasn't president, but I have to say,

My knees hit the floor on that fatal day.

I prayed for the living, I prayed for the dead,

I prayed for the enemy and the blood that was shed.

I prayed for all leaders, I prayed for this land,

I prayed for religions I don’t understand.

Then I prayed for my president and trusted my prayer,

Found God also listening to my president’s prayer.

For a president who’s faithful, humble and true ,

Knows God's still blessing, the red, white and blue.

So every election, politicians take note,

I pray for God’s guidance, before I go vote.
