Joshua 1:8

*Someday I’m gonna go to Heaven* *Just when, well I don’t really know* *Someway I’m gonna go to Heaven* *‘Cause the Bible tells me so* *For God, has made me such a strong man* *Evil, I just don’t have to fear* *His Word, has raised me from a wrong man* *So I keep a Bible near* *Oh the Bible, yes the Bible* *John Three Sixteen is written in the Bible* *So tell you children, tell your friends* *That Jesus died for everybody’s sins* *Forgive, so you can be forgiven* *Revenge can’t bring back yesterday* *Forgive and you shall be forgiven* *Read the Bible know Gods Way* *One Truth, One Life, One Way* © 1988 William Heffner John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

William, it pleases me to your beautiful and faithful message in this poem. Someday, you will experience the beauty of Heaven, I say that with kindness for you have faith. If this world could only wake up. Surely it would be a better place.

I'm so glad there are people such as you...ones who are not ashamed to spread the gospel. And you do it in a way that lets everyone know exactly where you stand and helps them understand what they need to do to go to Heaven with you. Because of the way things are in the world today, I believe God will soon call his children home...to be with Him throughout eternity. Keep on spreading the Word.

Your poem may be 20 years old, but the message is as needed now as it has ever been. So many have lost sight of the ethics and teachings that The Bible provides; if more would return to those most sacred of teachings, the world would be a better place.
