Leaves of yellow, orange,
and gold
shine and sparkle like
wet streets in reflections
of light.
The sparkle passes away when
day swallows night;
blooms again when
morning returns.
The Leaves take our breath
in months of three:
September,
October,
November.
Its months of golden splendor.
canyons of trees,
exceeding brilliance,
magnificence,
high rank,
as a ruler.
