I asked you for a taste of life, You gave me a full meal. I asked you for a moment’s notice, You gave me adoration. I asked you for a sip of pleasure, You poured me all your passion. I asked you for a fleeting touch, You gave me full embrace. I asked you for a word or two, You gave me easy conversation. I asked you for a little smile, You gave me joy and laughter. I asked you for your friendship, You gave me all your love. I invited you for a visit, You moved into my heart.
