Every revolution has to start somewhere,

deep in the recesses of the mind,

It flows past eddy's and currents of the negative,

to emerge unscathed in time.

Emerging from that low sink of debauchery,

that self loathing hate,

That same tired pattern we repeat,

dawn to dusk everyday.

Deftly moving past obstacles,

that we put in our own way,

Causing an epic momentum to start,

that eventually becomes evident on our face.

So out of the dust we slink,

and hold our heads erect,

And know that every revolution starts,

with with undeniable self respect.

Visions of A Skylark Dressed in Black by Aberjhani
