All elements of nature,
have the rose seduced,
but her unique perfume
is in no way reduced.
When velvet crimson petals
become the dried ones shed,
her delicate beauty is not gone
for there will be a new blossom red
to again fragrantly fill the air
and lift her petals to the sun,
for as long as her core is nurtured,
her earthly beauty is never done.
Lovely tribute to a rose. I'm glad the old varieties are back. They have a much better fragrance.
Well done... Enjoyed reading. Flows beautifully.
