Poem Artwork

The night began quietly with no special plans, just another evening at home,

But the shimmering candlelight silently beckoned with a special romantic glow,

While warm water and a couple caps of bubble bath created iridescent foam,

And in the background softly played sweet love songs from days long ago.

When we first slipped into the tub, we were giggling, playing and teasing

As we made silly beards and moustaches of bubbles on each other’s face,

But we grew sensually serious when our playful games led the way into pleasing:

Passionate kisses stirred primal desires; foam-covered arms and legs interlaced.

The kindling of hot, sultry kisses ignited our fire of passion into burning heat,

So the soft green of the satin sheets felt cool to our freshly bathed flesh .

As we intimately touched, stroking each others body, from head down to feet,

We entwined in ways that only a man’s body and woman’s body can mesh.

As the music filled the air and the candles melted beneath their searing flame,

Our intimacy was accentuated by the occasional utterance of a soft and sensual moan

Until the woman within me screamed in delight with sounds that were anything but tame,

And I soared to unimagined heights, far above and beyond anything I’ve ever known.
