Cacaphonous, kaleidoscopic sea
And Jonah's Whale still swimming after me.
You want more crusted blood or blistered skin? Oh, I think not!
Yet this "They" say was Yours. Your Choice? Our Lot...
Apologies, Excuse my outburst, please?
I'll try to beg more gently-- huddled on my knees.
I'll beg and plead , "Untie this knot" again
And wonder what... what could have been my sin?
You know, when I was young and more alive,
I knew someday that I'd collapse inside.
Yet, here I am to beg another day...
So many others simply could not stay.
So many others... Please, no more, today!?
For me, for those still here, I beg. I pray.

This one is honest yes and it is a good one to ask why. Why some suffer more than others, what did we do... Scars last a life time.... Powerful Mia..............
Chilling but with a sense of honesty that shows through with strength. Yes you may be scarred but you refuse to give in, beg as a survival instinct but sounds more like picking the right time to fight.
Who is brave enough to admit that they are crippled inside? Bearing a fifty odd year scar? Not many people want to hear us confess this. Oh shut up, it will go away. Oh, right. What's the point in buying a book if we're not prepared to open it? What's the point of experience if we just keep it shut tight between the hard back covers. Huh, yet even counsellers back off - oh, you're too heavy for me. C'mon, you've been to your psychodynamic gym, you got the cerebral muscles, now put them to use - train me. Can you imagine?
