Let’s put your money where your mouth will kiss,
When a pipeline, breaks that is,
No weeks, or month or negotiation,
Let it be your cash, and not the nation,
No lawyers, but plain old facts, was there oil before,
No, then pay my friend, you made the people sore,
No, not just for the water lost, or the damage done,
No, not just for all of that, and how you used the people’s gun,
The law you pressed on us, that is our land,
The misery you caused, you understand,
All efforts and the time there spend,
Will you for all this then make amend?
People occupied, and marched, and spend their life,
So the next, they could survive,
You raped and blundered long enough,
Now leave it be, I know it’s tough,
What excuse you come up with next,
When all is gone, and then you’re vexed,
What next, you going to rape and plunder,
Will you rape the seas down under?
Your appetite for more is endless,
And endless is your greed you might confess,
And with the help of more of you,
What will the zillion poor then do,
To share the wealth you promised us,
Why raise a fuss,
Yet a millennia or more,
All you did, is make us sore,
Equal distribution that you fight,
To your wealth you hang on tight,
In mansions live, those in your pocket,

We Europeans came to this North American land a scant 400 years ago, longing to be free and to benefit from the rich resources that we wrested from the native people as though it were ours to take. We never regretted it. We revel in it. One great big land grab.
And then, those in money and power use bribery and coercion to get the government to grant them access to public lands where they can continue to rape and pillage under the guise of "deregulated" free enterprise. Throughout this great country (and the world) can be found deep scars and polluted landscapes left by those who freely took under "free enterprise," but never gave back are even cleaned up. The mess becomes a government problem paid for by the people. We need to sue them. They need to pay for every bit of damage done, no exceptions.
We know the right thing to do. Germany knows the right thing to do and is going ahead with renewable energy at a rate that will put the United States to shame for hanging on to dirty fossil fuels under the guise of "creating jobs" that are no longer there with large automated operations. It's a scam that those of us that know (the intelligentsia) need to expose and stop.
We've harmed our earth enough in the name of profit. We have become filthy rich for a few and dirt poor for most. When are we going to come to our senses?
