Out the front door, through the streets,
crossing waters shallow, deep,
sunlight bright, white cloud sky,
faces finding newer smiles.
Onward, forward, farther go,
sweeping routines clean from souls.
Trees in bloom, pink for spring,
adventure calls in visions seen.
Motorcycles, water parks,
roller coasters, museum arts.
Weekend warriors plans in hand,
friend made road trips, sing with the band.
Trunks stuffed full for family vacations,
schedules to keep in distant locations.
Loading, unloading, off we all go,
to breathe in the wonders untouched by the snow.
