Freedom
I long for liberation of my heart,
To touch and feel and taste the gentle being,
I long for spring, I long to be a part
Of something greater, something beyond meaning.
Beyond all words, beyond conceptions rise,
I want to lose myself in the eternal,
Beyond appearances, beyond all lies,
Beyond external, and beyond internal.
Neither security, nor life beyond I seek,
I do not want to chase these apparitions,
I want to breathe, I want to rise and speak
The language of the sky for all to listen.
And if you find me lying in my grave,
I will me moss that covered up my coffin,
From all confinements, all restrictions and all caves
I will be free, I will be everything and nothing.

Written so long ago… And never more pertinent than today…
Thank you for sharing has always Alexander… :-)
I am reading this on June 19… which is Aung San Suu Kyi 81st birthday on June 19… As you may very well be aware, she has been unlawfully and cruelly imprisoned for three years, and not even her family have been allowed contact with her… the sincerest voice of freedom, democracy, peaceful dialogue, Nobel Peace Prize laureate and wonderful mother has been silenced for far too long… No proof that she is even alive… May the greatest birthday gift for heroic Aung San Suu Kyi and millions and millions of courageous freedom devotees be rightfully bestowed by June 19… Aung San Suu Kyi's 81st Birthday - The Lady, the most courageous and loved leader of Burma, noble-hearted, farsighted visionary, powerful peacemaker, and graceful human being imaginable. Praying to the heavens and beyond that this will be so🙏
