A grandchild is a very special person in our lives. When they hurt, we hurt. But we continue to love them through it all with love unfading.
As Granny sadly sat in the darkness, thinking about what had been said to her by her treasured grand-daughter, it hurt her so much to have heard such desrespectful words come out of her beautiful mouth.
But such is life she thought to herself, sadly this is how the world is changing and I will get over it. Sad but Life wasn't always fair and easy for this very beloved child. But only time and she could change the chain of mistakes that seem to run in her family circle.
Granny sat thinking, I wonder does she realize that it is now in her hands to make that change. Concerned, after all she loved this precious girl so much and only wanted to protect her from further pain in her life. Knowing the hurt that was caused her by her mom would take a long time to heal from.
Someday she would rise above it and find the happiness and bliss she is looking for in life, for both her and her own little girl, as long as she continues to mature and be responsible .
