To her he was nothing less then perfection. Not knowing that over time she would come to be a victim of this man's dark future. Along with the innocent babies to be brought into their lives.

Marguerite was a very strong lady to have kept her family together with her love and protection. This book is very captivating, once you start it you will not be able to put it down until completed.
Congratulations to the author!!!! Looking forward to reading her next book.

My husband, purchased this book for me. Knowing how I am enthralled with reading -- he read the prologue and thought it was worth the read. I finished it in a week. I can not believe how one man could put his family through what he did. You made me the reader feel what Marguerite was going through. My prayers for you.

Once in every great while, I will read a book which keeps me enthralled as the plot moves forward and characters are developed. And then, I will see that I have only a few pages remaining to be read, and I will feel bereft - like I really do not want for this story to end. “The Devil's Residence” by Selena Dobbin-Gillis is one of those very special stories which will hold your attention right to the very end, as Marguerite, sensitive and innocent, meets and falls in love with her dark prince charming and falls desperately victim to his fiendish obsessions and possession. And the writing is excellent. You will know Marguerite. You will experience her life and know her agony. Do not miss this one!

Well where should i start .Well first and formost this story of how things like this really happen in real life is awful but reading this book i have learnt my life was not bad at all actually it was great.And i certainly am glad you have opened up and told us your story cause i believe people who read this will bennifit and maybe learn from it and it might change there lives if anything like this is going on in there lives .Abuse ,mentally And physically abuse are awful and can scare us for the rest of our lives and we as humans are scared but we try and try to stand up for ourselves and our families whom we love and will protect no matter what even if it hurts us.So with this i say anyone who has not read this book please do so it is an amazing story of a beautiful woman who put up with alot and she tried and tried and always got hurt in the end of it but one thing is she always put her children first and all i can say is buy this book it should be a best seller .Winnie

Sadly this is the all too true sceanario of so many innocents, just looking for love, marriage, children etc.
Then there is the telling from the little ones as they grow older...
Cruelty in all it's forms, leaves a trail of destruction, that is often too much for some to even talk about, let alone Pen.
I too would like to read your book, and hope you find a good publisher.
