Part of my persistent practice includes redefining things I had for years called problems. At this point in my unfoldment, I look at a situation as a person presents it – such as a person describes a health problem. Hearing her, I redefine it as an opportunity to practice my inner life skills and abilities. IOW, I want to see the Truth about her – that nothing is wrong.
Soon after I woke up this morning I was impressed with the notion that the world is okay and there is nothing wrong in the world. Almost as suddenly my attention moved to the news – the story about fires in California was on the screen. My next thought moved to a very profound experience in late 1979, where I was privileged to see a problem and then its solution. I call it a privilege because seeing this progression helps me see how the world is okay.

That 1979 experience occurred when I was in meditation during SMC training – I had gone off on my own adventure, utilizing the facilitator’s words to go to a very deep level. On the stage of my mind I saw an image of nerve damage in a woman’s right upper arm, and in speaking with her while on break, she confirmed what I had seen by describing her pain. During the next meditative level, I saw the nerve repaired. In conversation with her I noticed how vigorously she rubbed her hand up and down her arm, telling me the pain was gone. I saw her about 18 months later and she told me she was still without pain in her arm – it never returned.

Let me be very clear: I merely observed. I saw evidence of the woman’s pain – the problem, and I saw evidence of her healing – the solution. I realize now I was in the emotional atmosphere that allowed me to see both. In the energy of the meditation I moved into higher vibrations, arranging the contents of my consciousness with elevated emotions.

Here in 2015 I have persistently practiced feeling the energy of elevated emotions and noticed the atmosphere around me filled with whichever elevated emotions I named. In this atmosphere I observed evidence of problems people in my life experienced and on the stage of my mind saw images of their solutions. Shortly after seeing the solutions in my inner experience I saw these same solutions expressed in my tangible reality. I saw health issues, relational conflicts, unlawful activities, vocational problems, financial issues, property damage and other things remedied – first in the mind's eye and then right in front of my physical eyes.

Interesting – whenever I want to see Truth, images appear on the stage of my mind, giving me the thing I wanted. Wanting to see Truth I realized so-called problems of the world are illusions. Illusions appear in the atmosphere formed in the energy of negative programming and negative beliefs – filled with the energy of emotions in lower consciousness.

I don’t react to illusions when I am seeking Truth; but when I believe they are true , I react. Part of my practice involves making this distinction, catching myself in a reaction asking, “Really? You believe this is true ?” The question pulls me out of the illusion so I can look at the world through the lens of Truth. Instead of getting upset when I hear news reports, I ask, “Show me the Truth of this thing they reported”. I buy into the idea that the world is just fine as the Truth of the world because I persistently practice programming my thinking that the world is just fine. My thinking it does not make it True, only creates the atmosphere so I see the world is just fine.

While I was reading this article (in the stories section) I noticed something that I believe firmly. The news always seeks out the most sensational, and often, tragic things that are happening in the world. This is done because people like to watch sensational things and the general good it's happening every day gets set aside. That's why I'm optimistic and quite concerned about those who believe that the news represents the way life really is and become fearful over things that don't ever affect them.

However, while I can affect my own condition by changing fear into positive action, I find that I'm totally unable to "cure someone" of their pain by my mental action.

Your article also contains a lot of repetition that begins to sound like preaching.
