In this short story I am telling you how I am allowing myself to become more and more of who I really am. I am telling you how I am harmonizing my two vibrational vantage points - my broader non-physical and my evolving physical perspectives in relation to my natural states.

Starting at the point where I recognize the gap between who I am allowing myself to be and who I really am, I recall from my earliest days in Unity I heard about my natural state. Now with Neville and Abraham I am working this idea into the fabric of my consciousness. Early on I saw the teachings informing me of my natural state: infinite love, infinite wisdom, infinite wellness and infinite wealth. I had this information about my natural state and looking back for just an instance, I see very clearly what I was allowing myself to be. With Neville and Abraham I figured out how to tap into varying portions of my natural state, and now I am figuring out how to allow myself to be greater and greater portions of these aspects of my being.

Asking the question I started with “how much of this infinite love, infinite wisdom, infinite wellness and infinite wealth am I allowing myself to be” and in getting the picture of where I am, I asked, “how much more am I willing to let myself be”. Seeing the gap, I listened intently to hear in the Abraham teachings how to figure out how to close that gap between who I really am and who I am allowing myself to be, and discovered so much about myself. Finding out how it works, that in each moment I give attention to something, ideas are born within me – ideas of new and improved versions of what I am seeing. Long before I realized how it works, I had seen images in my mind's eye of these new and improved versions of persons, places and things, without knowing what to do with them. With Neville I realized these are the lovely states into which I could lift others and myself, and with Abraham I found I could build momentum by giving these new versions my undivided attention.

You can observe the patterns of thinking and talking of just about everyone, including your own to see we constantly talk about the things we are observing – even after the event had passed. Especially when the thing you are thinking about feels bad, the common conversation is about what was wrong and who was at fault. Each thought and each conversation about what is wrong widens the gap between who you really are and who you are allowing yourself to be. This is the gap between you and your Inner Being. The gap exists because while you give attention to what is wrong, your Inner Being won’t go there. At the broader, non-physical perspective you know you had been sorting through the details of the experience, clarifying what you don’t want and the new and improved version – what you want to be.

Problems show you are observing something that deprives you of the fullness of your natural state. Aware of the new and improved versions and giving your undivided attention to these, you expand your awareness more of your natural state. Things we call problems are the gaps: showing gaps in our beliefs, where we deprive ourselves of our natural states. Discord in relationships deprives me of infinite love. Confusion deprives me of infinite wisdom. Sickness and disease show gaps in my beliefs in infinite wellness. I deprive myself of infinite wealth with beliefs in poverty and lack.

Knowing where my gaps are makes it easy to close them. IOW, I expand my awareness of new, improved versions of infinite love, infinite wisdom, infinite wellness and infinite wealth and close my gaps. My struggle to figure out how to bring about harmony in a relationship that had become strained shows I deprived myself of the fullness of infinite love and infinite wisdom. Feeling bad about the situation shows the gap in my perspective in relation to the perspective of my Inner Being. My Inner Being is the fullness of infinite love and infinite wisdom and sees only the fullness of infinite love and infinite wisdom.

Knowing the perspective of my Inner Being about the relationship is the only guidance I need. I don’t need to talk it over with anyone, and really should not speak with anyone until I am aligned with my Inner Being. Why? Vibrational alignment with my Inner Being closes the gap, and I am seeing the person as my Inner Being sees him. In viewing the person as infinite love, I change my vibration, closing the gap. I know the vibration of discord is no longer active in me when my thoughts about the person rings my bell and makes my heart sing.

I open myself to alignment with my Inner Being by desiring to be delighted with my thought of the person. Desiring to be thrilled at the thought of the person, I set myself on the path of alignment with my Inner Being. Just wanting to feel good when I think about the person, I set the strategy in motion for closing the gap and begin broadcasting a new vibration, broadcasting a new vibration that pleases me. I build momentum by taking every opportunity to think of the person in ways that please me and make my heart sing. I delight myself in thinking about the person in ways that ring my bell and thrill me. I am becoming aware of a new and improved version of the person with my thoughts in alignment with my Inner Being.

The more I practice being satisfied and pleased with my thoughts about the person, the momentum I am building is stronger and stronger. The stronger my momentum, I am less and less inclined to take what they say or do personally, and their actions become more and more irrelevant. Simply, I am feeling good no matter what they say or do and I see them as who they really are – seeing them figuring out how to feel better, seeing them figuring out how to tap into the infinite love that they are. Feeling compassion for their efforts, I am viewing them as their Inner Being sees them, knowing all is well and everything is working out for them. I know they are moving more and more into alignment with who they really are – just as I am. Further I am so appreciative to them for showing me the vibrations active in me – vibrations I did not want to broadcast, showing me I had been depriving myself of the fullness of infinite love. I appreciate them so much for being the contrast I needed so I could turn to my Inner Being and the infinite love within me, giving my attention to infinite love and activating the vibration of infinite love. I appreciate them for being enough available for me to be aware of broadcasting the vibration of infinite love.
