     This second installment of my Shift story lets you in on the secrets of my journey

So many times I heard I needed to know where I am so I could decide where I am going. This applies to every journey, whether geographical or psychological. I had long been able to plot my geographical journeys, first using maps and now using GPS. A whole new universe opened up for me when I realized I had a reliable way to plot my psychological journey. 

I can tell you right now I only recently found the value and benefit of plotting my psychological journey. Yes, I had been involved in the art of manifesting desires for several decades and have a good track record. Some things I just did, performing acts in Imagination and noticing how easy and quickly I saw the changes I wanted. I feel pretty good about being able to describe what I am doing, but I did not think about my psychological location. Instead I was thinking about changes in various conditions, not realizing how it happened. 

I had seen discussions about alignment: and after gaining certain clarity, I realized they were really talking about the destination in a psychological journey. This began to make sense as I found I could think of myself as a vibrational being living in a vibrational universe. It helped to know everything was vibrational, so I began thinking about vibrations. When I started thinking of how I focus vibrations, I took a turn into an arena that was brand new to me. 

Realizing I focus in two ways – physical and non-physical, I gained more clarity on the nature of my psychological journey. The starting point of my psychological journey is my physical focus where I interpret vibrations of subjects I give attention and my destination is my non-physical focus where I had already taken on the vibrational form and shape of these subjects in their most expansive nature. Basic to my journey is the difference in my interpretation of vibrations – from my physical focus and my non-physical focus. 

Interpreting vibrations through physical focus I use my senses – sight, sound, taste, smell and touch – sometimes augmented with instruments, and examine these with my reasoning intellect. The story is different when I interpret these same vibrations through my non-physical focus. My non-physical focus is universal, infinite, omnipresent and omnipotent. With infinite intelligence and freedom to explore beyond time and space, I easily see everything is working out just fine – all is well. In my physical focus, I interpret the vibration within the range of my senses and with my current knowledge about the subject. In non-physical focus I recognize the nature of the vibration I interpreted through physical focus as one simple step along the journey. 

While this step might seem uncomfortable, and is something I realize in my physical focus is something I do not want or do not like, the vastness of my non-physical focus encompasses very generally and very specifically what I prefer. Even when in my physical focus I interpret the subject as something I like, in my non-physical focus I know I have so much more. Simply it could be even better and more enjoyable. So my interpretation through physical focus triggers uncomfortable feeling thoughts, I start my journey to align my physical focus with my non-physical focus. This is my emotional journey – from feeling bad to feeling joy. 

Feeling bad, I keep my attention on what I do not like and do not want: on the absence of what I really want and like. This is where I am when I start my emotional journey. I also start this journey where I am feeling good about what I see, and I want even more, or see this could be even better, where thought of the subject brings me joy on several levels.
