If you do not move (mentally) you continue to live your undesirable state, thereby sinning and missing your mark in life! Regardless of what you may desire, persist in feeling its fulfillment, for if you do, feeling will become believing. [Lecture #44 – I REMEMBER WHEN, Neville 04/19/1968]

So I was feeling so uncomfortable when I watched a certain person complaining and blaming others for things going on in his life. He showed up with a lot of anger – contorting his face and grimacing. But I had already decided to be happy. Seeing this person so angry and hearing things he was saying, I was determined to not let his mood keep me from being happy. Realizing I can do nothing to change his mood, I picked up on something from the Abraham teachings that fall in line with this Neville quote: moving out of this undesirable state.

I am thrilled to tell you how I move out of undesirable states. Knowing I give birth to ideas for new and improved versions of what I am seeing when I see something I don’t like, I turned my attention to a new and improved version of the person I was observing. My first step in moving to a desirable state is shifting my focus. It is so wonderful knowing this idea is born as soon as I notice I don’t like or want what I am observing, and the broader, non-physical part of my being which I sometimes call my Inner Being delivered it to my vibrational escrow. My Inner Being is the part of me that sees with my mind's eye, delivering it into my vibrational escrow, making it a done deal. The new version is done, ready for me to let it become my perspective.

Some call this Imagination and imagining. Just to make it clear, everything I see with the mind's eye is in my vibrational escrow. Ideas I gave birth to, of new and improved versions of persons, places and things are in my vibrational escrow.

Shifting attention to the new version of the person is my first step out of the undesirable state, moving toward the desirable state. Seeing images of the new version of the person, I notice how I am feeling. The thought of this new version of the person feels really good. Making me smile, I hear my heart sing. Old habits cause me to wonder if he would pull it off, but remembering this new version is for me, I get my nose out of his business and notice I had given birth to more ideas – about people the person had gathered around himself. So in my mind's eye I saw new versions of them, joining him in his new ventures.

Feeling my way to the new version, being so happy to see him and his people – holding my happiness steady I am matching the vibration of this new version. I can tell you about the joy I am feeling. Just thinking of this person in the new version is so delightful. Each thought of him gives me such a lovely reminder, regardless of what I see or hear about him. None of that matters now my new version is solid.
