A little history: in early 2013 I set on a course to feel good, starting a joy vigil. Focusing feelings and thoughts of joy day in and day out, I kept a journal to track my persistence. I used joy as my focal point knowing its quantifiable power. In 2002 I studied Hawkins who calibrated feelings and talked the offsetting power of feelings calibrated in the higher denominations over feelings with lower numbers. At higher denominations feelings are positive; at lower denominations, they are negative. Positive feelings or higher vibrations indicate happiness and joy, clarity, freedom and empowerment, love and appreciation. Negative feelings denoting lower vibrations feel bad.
I can tell you I was so excited about applying the Hawkins scale of consciousness in a 2011-2013 graduate studies project. A study I read comparing the impact of positive thoughts and drugs on brain chemistry and linking drug use with the desire to feel good was my inspiration. While the study documented some affect of positive thinking on brain chemistry, its conclusions attributed greater influence of drugs. With the Hawkins valuation I started thinking in terms of vibrations and tested my theories in my project. This was just a start.
The following factors about the offsetting power of love, joy and the sense of fulfillment over negative feelings were inspiring. The range of Hawkins' scale from a high of 600 to a low of 20 cites 200 as the separation point of higher consciousness or positive feelings and the lower states. The powers of the higher vibrations offset any of the lower. Conflicts and discord in the lower ranges of consciousness are offset by the higher states. I like the feeling that arises from the idea that one clear thought offsets 400,000 negative or confused thoughts, that a single thought of love counterbalances 750,000 negative thoughts, one joyous thought offsets one million doom-and-gloom thoughts and one thought of fulfillment counterbalances 10 million thoughts of lack and limitation. Over the years I used these ideas to arrange the contents of my consciousness, so this process was continually available to me. So when I decided to apply this offsetting power to my attitude toward politics and government, I had to ask new questions.
I saw and heard many things I did not like in the 2016 US Presidential campaigns, and tracking news reports about the resulting administration, I asked questions about how I could change my feelings about politics and government. I realized I could only change my feelings and attitudes because I knew I could not change what was happening in politics and government. I knew I had no control over them; but I have total control over what I think and how I feel.
My understanding of vibrational reality, Law of Attraction and the Abraham Scale of Emotions makes it easy for me to change my attitudes and subsequently my relationship to politics and government. Starting with an example of my relationship to politics and government, I felt many negative emotions rise up in me while hearing speeches and reports about the candidates and the administration. I knew what was happening, so I used the process of personifying the Law of Attraction to carry on a conversation about my feelings. Saying or thinking, “I am feeling angry about this…” I know Law of Attraction responds, saying, “I’m arranging more things for you to feel anger about”. Seeing the direct correlations of my feelings and Law of Attraction resulted in my decision to change my moods – so Law of Attraction would respond to different vibrations. Instead of responding to my vibration of anger, my preference is that Law of Attraction matches my feelings of fun and happiness.
My most exciting gain through understanding vibrational reality is the process of changing my feelings. For me, that everything is vibrational is a given. Thinking from the perspective that everything is vibrational, I start at the point where I realize all of us arrange the contents of our consciousness individually about the places and things in our lives. Knowing this consciously I readily choose my perspectives. Not knowing this, things happen in a willy-nilly way.
Realizing things I hear politicians say and see them doing are vibrational I know their talk about problems and limitations and the absence of wellbeing reveals how they arranged the contents of their consciousness. Attitudes they express show they are giving attention to things they do not like. Hearing and reading about solutions they are attempting also show how they arranged the contents of their consciousness – primarily from the same vibrations they transmitted when they presented their perspectives of things they were concerned about.
Verbal attacks various politicians make on each other, on citizens and specific groups, on leaders of nations across the globe – while this stirs my dislike – reveal how they arranged the contents of consciousness and are vibrational indicators of what is going on in them. Aware of actions like these I realize they had not figured out how to align themselves with the higher states of being. So, I give birth to ideas for new and improved versions of them. Thinking of them from this new perspective, I realize they have to be in my vibrational vicinity to benefit. However, I continue to focus on my vibrational version for my pleasure – so I am feeling good.
That the current administration made decisions and issued orders to deprive portions of the citizenry of certain benefits is a vibrational indicator of how they arranged the contents of consciousness from which they live. In my understanding of vibrational reality and the Law of Attraction I know all the parties involved give birth volumes of ideas for new and improved versions of life and experience. I give birth to many ideas, including ideas for improvement, ideas for them aligning with the higher states.
Complaints about the actions of politicians and government reveal one major thing: complainers do not know they had given birth to ideas for new and improved versions of the politicians and government. To jog my memory I trained myself to use a code word when I hear and see things that bump me out of my happy state. The code word “vibrational indicator” causes me to think about what I am allowing myself to be in this moment, and in this moment I look to ideas I had given birth to for new and improved versions. So I apply this to my thoughts about government.
Starting with local politics, earlier this month I heard a news story reporting a crucial shortfall in the school system budget. Reporters interviewed several parties who talked about long-range impact on students and school personnel. Immediately I thought about the school system’s vibrational escrow and asked, “Wouldn’t it be nice if the school system had sufficient funds for the upcoming school year?” I was very pleased a few days later when the governor announced in a press conference the release of more funds for that district – more than enough for the budget.
I realize the belief of shortage and limitation prevails throughout the world society implying only so much is available to go around. Law of Attraction responds with measures of resources based on these beliefs. I included thoughts of my vibrational escrow filled with ideas of more and more resources in the arrangement of the contents of my consciousness. So it is easy for me to think about my vibrational escrow when I become aware of financial needs. Since I have my own vibrational escrow, I realize others have their own vibrational escrow. Hearing or reading about persons or groups caught up in beliefs of shortage and limitation stirs me to think thoughts about their vibrational escrow, knowing they had given birth to ideas for new and improved versions of their resources. This is only a start.
