‘Vessels of Honour’ is a compilation of the work and activities of certain men and women of God from different walks of life here in The Gambia. The Gambia is a highly populated Muslim nation, but Christianity has been made popular within the length and breadth of the nation. This was made possible by the tireless efforts of various men and women of God; Christians, who are daily working hard to make Jesus known through their ministries.
The inspiration for this book comes from the scripture in 2 Timothy 2:20-21 “ But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour. If a man therefore purges himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master’s use, and prepared unto every good work.” (KJV)
According to the concept of the above scripture, these Vessels of Honour are being used by our Father in Heaven unto good works. This is all what this book is about; to share the good works of these vessels, so as to inspire the entire Christendom to becoming vessels of Honour in their various areas of services to God.
This work means a lot to me, I would appreciate your comments and if you can to answer my survey questions, you might not be living in The Gambia, but you might have ideas about a Christian living in a predominately Muslim environment. Please feel free to post your comments on this site or reach me at my email address: bernielowe.yahoo.co.uk. God bless you all.
This is a great start for your work. I hope you receive many reviews and get lots of responses to this upcoming title Vessels Of Honour. Keep the faith and keep on writing.
