Living with a bowel disorder is never easy and when surgery is required, it can be quite scary.
This book offers help and encouragement to all those who may be going through these problems
Many people today suffer with some type of embarrassing bowel disorder such as ulcerative colitis or crohn's disease. Many cope quite well. However, some require stoma surgery to be able to have a quality of life. This book follows on from ALL BAGGED UP and offers tips, suggestions and help with many areas such as, travel, day to day coping, where to obtain ostomy products - chemists or delivery companies and an insightful look at the toilets that the ostomist has to cope with each day.
Having a stoma can be a psychological struggle initially. However, given time for surgery to settle down and having a positive attitude can be a real life-saver. This book will offer encouragement and support to people with a bowel disorder or anyone with a stoma or awaiting stoma surgery.

This is a very good practical resource book for anyone about to undergo surgery for or living with a stoma. It is written from the author's own experience and discusses the pro's and con's of the 'how,what,and where,'of everyday life as an ostomist. The inevitable emotional aspects and how a person can cope with the uncertainties; where one gets help and advice; how to gain supplies; the pro's and con's of different types of bags and underwear; the best toilet arrangements and how to cope with the worst; suggestions for travel arrangements, and much much more. It is all there, sensitively written, everything an ostomist needs to know but might find difficulty finding out about 'first hand'. This new release compliments the author's already published book 'All Bagged Up' and should not be missed by those seeking more information.
