The O.D.s
It all started when I moved from Wolverhampton to London to study. I hooked up with a bunch of students, one of whom, Claire, became my current girlfriend. I first met Claire on campus. She’s a dark haired beauty with natural curves in all the right places and a gorgeous face, not to say, intelligent. Did I mention…I’m in love with her big time!
Anyway, I moved into this poky little flat, which was okay and not too far from where I studied. Things were fine at first, then after about a week I had the strangest feeling that something was chewing on my left foot, as I drifted off to sleep.
The first time it happened, I woke up with a start. I got a real fright, because I thought it was a rat, but the queer thing was, when I turned on my bedside light, there was no sign of it.
I whipped off the bed sheets, but my foot looked fine. I went back to sleep and slept well enough, but in the morning I felt drained and lethargic, like I had a hangover from drinking the night before.
Nothing happened the next night, but the night after that, it was the same again.
I had this queer sensation that something was gnawing on my left foot. Like before,
I whipped off the covers, to find my foot looking normal.
