In 2072 a deadly disease sweeps the world, killing nearly everyone. Governments and civilization disintegrate. I see you have picked a time far enough in the future that George Orwell did with 1984 and many others, including me that have made predictions too soon that may or may not still come true.
That's why I did not specifically state when the world fell apart in The Last Wanderer, a much more broad ranging cause for Armageddon than disease and starvation.
Without an excerpt to see how you write, I can't see whether or not I would like to buy and read your book or not, but I'm covered with books that I haven't read from other authors right now and doing so much writing, I get to do little reading.
