consists of 20 poems . cocerns human existence . it ridicules any serious approach to life and poetry . but it's obvious that the poet believes in love . love is no romance in his life . it's food . lust for life to him is sex . not beatiality . man is animal , not a beast . the poems seem light-hearted . but they demand careful readings .

Anupam is one of the most promising poets in Bengali literature today. His experiences are rooted both in the urban and the rural psychedelia as compared to the metropolitan poets who while away their valuable time in Coffee House or at poetry reading assemblages. his selection of fragmentary diction defy epistemological image flashes. A reading of his verses in original is a relief in today's Indian nightmare. Someone should translate him in other European languages.
