Chapter Two Sacramento UFO-Paranormal Summit June 16-17 2012
This summit was just 2 miles from where I live in the Old Foothill Farms part of suburban Sacramento at the Crowne Plaza Hotel near the intersection of Madison Avenue and I80 headed northeastward to Reno. It had been advertised on the popular late night radio show Coast to Coast ad also had George Noory as a remote speaker at the summit. I was working as a volunteer for Anthony Sanchez a noted software engineer and the most prominent ufologist in the Sacramento area and author of The UFO Highway. While I worked in the vendor’s room providing security I did get to meet some of the speakers Norio Hayakawa a longtime researcher into Dulce, NM and Area 51 who is active on Facebook and Google+, Scott Allan Roberts author of The Rise and Fall of the Nephilim along with being the editor of Intrepid magazine, Micah Hanks of The Gralien Report and Lyle Blackburn a musician (good) and author of The Fouke Monster (Legend of Boogy Creek). I met them after hours over beers in the hotel’s bar, a really great group of guys.
I highly recommend Anthony Sanchez’s book The UFO Highway it’s a real page-turner about a hidden base at Dulce, NM where the Greys and the military were reverse engineering alien technology through testimony by a Colonel X to Anthony.
In the vendor’s room there were several tables and booths selling all kinds of things from books, CD’s, DVD’s, jewelry along with exhibits. One of my favorites was East Bay Paranormal Society (EBPS) who use EVP (Electronic Voice Phenomena) to investigate hauntings. They had very sophisticated electronic and computer equipment such as spirit box radio, recorders, and laptops that analyzed the voices of the dead with graphics.
H.P.I International who investigated a Fair Oaks, CA (Sacramento suburb) house that had Santeria rituals practiced there and had a lot of paranormal activity had an interesting table.
UFOtv had a load of DVD’s for sale and was playing them during the summit. I ended up purchasing Flying Saucers Are Real with Stanton T. Friedman, The Afterlife: The Scole Experiments and Alien Contacts which featured Lord Desmond Leslie former fighter pilot WWII and electronic music genius who wrote Flying Saucers Are Real with contact tee George Adamski also featuring Glenn Steckling head of the George Adamski Foundation along with Zechariah Sitchen.
Dr. Rita Louise, Medical Intuitive and host of Just Energy Radio had a large booth and is a super nice delightful person to talk to.
I invited members of my high school class Rio Americano High School’s (Sacramento) Facebook page to visit the summit and nobody showed which did not surprise me because I was told that having interest in aliens made me a crackpot. I write off these narrow minded people many of whom believe the Earth and the Universe is only 6,000 years old as a bunch of knuckleheads and makes me feel glad that I went to college and retired from state government as an Associate Programmer Analyst and met more intelligent life forms than these stupid jocks.
A week later I was on the train heading to the heart of Silicon Valley for a hard science look at aliens at the SETI Con II at the Santa Clara Hyatt Regency.
