Happiness and good times
do often stand alone
For when things are peaceful and calm
We're content with money, job and home
But...
It is when the fires
of grievous oppression are lit
and we hardly know where to turn
walk, run, stand or sit
It's during these hard times
when we've labored, moaned
pleaded and wept
and in spite of the pit
we are still somehow
miraculously kept
It is then…
our eyes turn heavenward
and, beyond an inkling of a doubt, we know...
So ‘this’ is why...Jesus...endured it!
