I work as a psychological counselor at a major behavioral medicine hospital in Chicago and I have been using a lot of the excellent material in Melvia's book= EBONY & IVORY. She is a great writer and I expect to see her on TV shows soon.
Sistah Melvia I just want to say that each page of "Ebony and Ivory" is a lesson that relates to me, or someone I know or grew up with. It really does make one think of a subject that we take for granted. We need to appreciate those flowers in the garden of humanity, regardless of how many or few "petals" of outward success they may or may not have.
God is not a respector of persons, and I wish we'd all learn to appreciate, love, and respect the contributions of all people, regardless of nationality. You book so creatively shows all aspects of humanity in the warmest, most thought provoking ways.

I am a retired professional NFL football player. I like this author's works very much. She is presents some valuable information. I especially like what she publishes about how to start your own business and make money. Get your copy of any of her books right away---money well spent !

I am busy working a lot, and seldom sit down for a long time to just read. But this book is written so clearly and is so enjoyable that it did grab my attention. The stories and fables do warm your heart and stimulate thinking. I learned a lot about Black History and also about herbs... Order your copy now --for something unique and refreshing.

This book by Melvia Miller contains a lot of good material. I have read it in parts, put it down and then come back to read it again and again. She is a very good writer and presents complicated material so that it is easy to comprehend. I highly recommend Melvia's books.
