He dribbled his ball through the doorway; smiling all along the way. He stopped by the steps to view where his friends liked to sit/ He said, "I have some news, and I want to tell you about it! Akbar told them, "I came today to tell you all that we'll be moving away!" "To where," one friend asked Akbar. Akbar replied, "I don't know but Mama says... it is very far." Akbar explained, "My daddy's company is moving us all.. My dad is a scientist like George Washington Carver...you may recall. We read a book about Benjamin Banneker & him. My dad does work like them. Another large group of buddies gathered around.... to find out why Akbar was planning to leave town. "And my mom also had good fortune... She's a writer who worked really hard... & she may become famous soon. And she won a book award. The book that she wrote will be on sale-- and a check for us is coming in the mail." "Yes, my brother, it is all about money!" chanted Hasani. "My man, is her book serious or funny?" So Akbar explained-- "Her book is about strong women--- like Madame Walker, Harriet Tubman and Shirley Chisholm..." Suddenly there was a lot of noise coming from Akbar's front door. Hi Melvia,

I also heard about you from Cynth'ya. I know about your Mom. I send you love and strength through prayer. And Cynth'ya is right: He doesn't make mistakes. I'm sure your mom is smiling right now.

I like your story verses very much. Not only are they good to read, but the're entertaining and educational. I very much liked the one called "Greed". Thank you, and be blessed.
