Flocking

Birds of a feather, flock together,

but should you or I?

When we sign up to join,

or become a member,

do we all see eye to eye?

There is power in numbers,

whatever our druthers,

do we get our share of the pie?

And when the bough breaks,

filled with too many flakes,

is it time to abandon the lie?

Let's all flock together,

and keep an eye on the weather,

for the flock to suddenly fly.

I don't give a flying flock about flocking,

with my strained integrity hocking,

to those birdies, I say, "Bye, bye."

Cleverly stated, Ron; and with an apt and timely message. Love, peace, and well-being to you and yours,

These days there seems to be two flocks: Hawks or Sparrows. We're all endangered if we don't see clearly and go as the crow flies toward a balanced economy, a rational planned society and a sustainable use of the environment. Watch out for the Putty Tat!

I grow more solitary by the day.
I feel like a meteorite from some far away puzzle.
I am not a piece that fits here.
