Men of today often speak without thinking or speak before thinking. We tend to talk to make ourselves feel good; we tend to speak to make those around us hear us. By not following through with what we’ve said, we’ve limited their ability to trust us leaving us only to be heard and not to be listened to; untrusted and not to be trusted.
