The Christian life is never easy and we need help at times to negotiate our way through each day. Praying and reading our bibles on a daily basis are paramount and is spending time with God listening for His direction for our lives. Life is filled with 'Suddenlies.' These may be positive suddenlies where suddenly an incident comes into our life which changes the whole course of things for us. However, suddenlies can be negative too such as, suddenly something comes into our lives such as illness, loss of a job, broken relationship and even death of a loved one. These can all be difficult to cope with, hence the title, Lord I can't do this. The author guides us through the book and offers scriptures and supportive thought to help us with situations. There is also a helpful chart at the end of the book that helps people to keep a record of situations, prayers and results that will be a great asset to many people. Though the title is a negative one, Lord I can't do this, it is hoped that as one reaches the end of the text that the reverse will be true, Lord, I can do this.
