RV Travel, things to do, packing and travel suggestions
The purpose of this trip weas to see the northern light in Upper Michiga. Didn't happen. It rain both nights we were there watching.
But we had a wonderful time going to and from there with some amazing stops aling the way.
Even with a breakdown in Ohio where we had to spend two days in an unplanned RV park and again in Michigan where they made repairs we still had one fantastic trip.
The book is our journal and the pics we took along the way tell more than mere words.

The 3 Garrisons
It is 87° this sunny Friday morning as we prepare for departure on our fourth RV road trip. The first order of business is Nancy’s haircut, so off to Ellenton at 8:00 a.m. followed by a nail appointment in Bradenton at 11:15 a.m.
These very import chores taken care of, Nancy returned home to get me, and we head up to Suncoast RV Rental to pick up the Chateau 23U RV.
After a walk-through and paper signing, we returned home at 3:30 p.m. and began loading.
Our first order of business was making the bed—very challenging
Even though the majority of what we were taking was staged in the front bedroom to be carried out, it was still a little like moving: Setting up the bath, kitchen, supply storage, etc. My wife is so very organized.
At 9:00 p.m., the last bit of loading was the refrigerator and freezer with already prepped meals. When we opened the door we found it was hot inside, so we hauled everything back inside and called Suncoast. We were told there was a little miscommunication concerning the pick-up time and the fridge hadn’t been turned on. It would take all night to cool. Since it was on propane, not electric. However, they never mentioned the slide temperature control.
Hoping the refrigerator would be ok in the morning we crawled into bed exhausted at 11:00 p.m., but had a restless night. Kept waking up, hoping all would be well with the fridge in the morning.
