When wealthy Milanese merchant Antonio Vecchi dies accidentaly at an early age in the 1960's, he leaves behind him a legacy of deception. Thirty years later in the United States, Antonio's family is enmeshed in a web of secrets that peerpetuates his deceit.
Antonio's duaghter, Marianna Vecchi Marin, lives in her own fantasy world. She romanticizes her relationship with her philandering husband, Keith, and has disconnected from her two children. "Cloud of Chaos Planet of Light" tells the story of Wolf, a trained astro-physicist who suffers from schizophrenia. Often dillusional, Wolf is visited by a strange creature from a distant planet who tells him that the scientists from Marrias, a civilization of human-like beings that is 1000 years in advance of Earth, has located a massive cloud that will soon descend on Earth and suffocate every living creature. Wolf must be convinced that the creature is not just an illusion before he can join the Marriasts who have come here to rescue humanity.
