This book helps children move through the grieving process by encouraging them to write letters or poems and draw pictures onto each page.
Children experience grief so differently than adults. One can explain the reasons Daddy died over and over again; yet, Daddy's little girl or Daddy's little boy will find it difficult to understand why Daddy is not coming home. Even if a measure of understanding occurs, dealing with the pain may seem impossible.
This book is designed to help children work through their emotions by doing what children love to do--draw and write.
