The Hidden American Treasures

This book (in process) is based on sound economic principles with the potential to accomplish for our economy what scholars and well-intentioned experts have not. It lays out a new vision for America, one with the objective of creating more jobs, higher wages, more business profits, new tax revenues, and a substantial reduction in our national debt. With very few – but necessary and strategic changes – our economy could be producing $20 trillions of new goods and services, above and beyond conventional expectations, as shown below:

     $20 trillion of new GDP producing:

    $4.0 trillion of new business profits,
  $10.4 trillion in wage increases,
    $2.4 trillion in new tax revenues, and
    $3.2 trillion in debt reduction, all over the next 10 years.

It begins by accepting the well-researched fact that 52 percent of US households now live in need of some government assistance (including food, fuel, housing, health care, education, and transportation). A range of $65,000 to $125,000 (LivingWage.mit.edu) for every household in the US based on the inquirer's county of residence is a necessary and important goal as we undertake our principle objective.

Our new optimized economy would expand the lending authority of credit unions to create many more one-person business startups, and more funds for small business expansions. It would alter (by law) the Federal Reserve's monetary options with an expansion of a bottom-up, middle-out approach, in fulfillment of the new GDP, wage growth, and new government assistance objectives.

We are also a nation of patriots who love freedom: to choose, to worship, to plan, to help others, to make the most of what we have; to be kind, and caring, and understanding; to speak, to read, to write, to critique, to praise; and this above all, to love – ourselves, our friends, even our adversaries as long as we are all working toward a common goal; with the understanding that we all have needs, rights, and aspirations, and we will fight proudly and honorably to keep them, proclamations and edicts from any source to the contrary notwithstanding. We will triumph over any person or ideology that tries to bring us down.

Many of our most cherished freedoms are either under attack, or are being abolished altogether by the medieval tactics coming from extremist ideologues. We need to fight back to win this battle, no matter the cost. Our objective is to defeat those dark spirits and conspirators from the distant past who will cheat, lie, or steal to win the elections of 2026 and 2028. Winston Churchill put his and his country-men's determination about their will to fight this way back in 1940:

Too many of our laws are being broken or tossed aside; too many false edicts are being pronounced from high places; too many thugs are posing as legitimate defenders of democracy; and too many families are being torn apart under false pretenses. All these actions are being defended by too many lawyers with too much money from too many unknown sources. Enough.
